At least once a day (if not a million), Joy asks me “Where Gecca?”  “At Gecca’s house” is my response.  We were talking about Bec and got the crazy idea to jump in the car at 2AM and drive all the way to her college!  So we did and Joy finally got to see where Gecca’s house is!

Joyful Happenings

So proud of Joy!  She is deathly afraid of stink bugs – screaming and freaking out.  Today she got some tissue, grab it, showed me, and flushed it!  Way to go big girl!

New pink boots – Joy wore hers out!  Time for new ones!  Now they can match!

I evidentally take a lot of pictures while we wait for the bus!

At therapy, cuddling with brother, PT has arm braces at her clinic that are like Chrissy’s on Daniel Tiger.  Joy and Bella love to play with them!

We went to the zoo on a beautiful Saturday!  Daddy had twisted his ankle, so he rented a scooter.  Joy loved the popcorn!  And the sea lions!

Joy’s Week

 

  While waiting for the bus, Jason and I were talking about his upcoming birthday.  Joy understood it differently.  She want to school and announced to her teacher that “Today is Daddy’s birthday!” So they helped her paint Daddy a picture!  Joy was convinced all day that it was Daddy’s birthday.  So Becca went out and bought some cupcakes that we had after dinner!

 

 

 

 

OK, this was scary!  Evidently, in the middle of the night, Joy decided she wanted some pancakes.  She got the mix out, she put it in a bowl.  She put it in a pan on the stove!  Thank goodness she doesn’t know how to turn on the stove!

We went to Parent Teacher Conference.  Joy is working hard and so is her teacher!  I’m so grateful for her amazing teacher!
