Last Day of School

Like to get up early in the morning.  So she is SO excited for summer!!!

Election Day - no school

Election day means no school!  That makes Joy VERY happy!

We went out for her 2nd favorite meal - Pepperoni pizza, Pepsi, and ice cream from Costco.

Friends Birthday Party

Our new lot

We have bought 1.25 acres.  We are in the process of buying another 1.25 acres.  On this 2.5 acres, we are building a special house designed just for our family.  It is taking forever to make it happen - and the superintendent said it'll probably be another year before it's done.   But we are excited!!

Pinewood Derby Race

The day came to race our Pinewood Derby cars!!  Joy had a blast!

At church there are youth activities every Thursday.  We choose not to attend all of them - just the ones the girls will enjoy.  

The youth made pinewood derby cars.  Joy wanted to decorate hers with PJ Masks characters, Catboy, Gecko, and Owlette.

Study on doctors

Joy has been involved with a study.  The instructor taught her how to ask her GYN about options for her period.  At the conclusion of the study, she facetimed a doctor.  

It was great because I loved how to prepare Joy so she can be more independent at the doctor's office.

Pepperoni Pizza

Joy has learned to say - pepperoni

So all of the sudden, pepperoni pizza is her new fav - instead of cheese.

We had a terrible storm with tornados come through town.  School was cancelled so we cleaned our rooms and had lunch at Costco.

Frozen

We went to see a production of Frozen!  So exciting!  Her favorite character is Christoff.

Then out for pizza (of course - it was that or McDonald's)
