Celebrating Joy’s Birthday at the Farm

Joy’s birthday is June 1st.  We celebrated it on May 31st.  Everyone was off work.  We had the whole day to just play.  We had lunch at Taco Cabana – we love that place and then went to the farm.  Joy opened presents and had cake and ice cream.  We had a wonderful time!  Happy birthday to my baby girl!!

She chose this cake – honest!  I thought it was perfect for her farm day birthday.

Going to visit the chickens and swinging to wrap up the great day!

Happy third birthday Joy!

Swinging, Chickens, and Playing

I think Joy could swing all day every day and not get tired of it!

We went dewberry picking on Saturday.  When Joy was done, Uncle Nathan carried her back to the house.  He acts all tough sometimes, but I love to see moments like this when he shows his gentle heart.  Thanks Uncle Nathan!

Grandma’s farm has chickens.  Joy discovered them this visit.  She loves to see them and signs for them.  Too cute!

I love that the girls include Joy in their play.  In this case, they are all little wizards – we are in a Harry Potter phase at the moment.

The End of ECI, Swimming, and the Stinker

Joy had her last developmental services appointment with Miss Kari on Thursday.  All of her ECI services stop of age three.  Miss Kari has been with Joy since she was one year old.  I remember the first task we worked on was isolating her pointer finger so she could point at pictures in books.  We made Miss Kari a card and some gluten free browines.  They were very yummy!  We will miss you Miss Kari!

Swimming – Joy loves the water!!

I was trying to finish up Joy’s book for her birthmother.  I was looking for the perfect picture for the cover and the stinker just wouldn’t cooperate.  :)  I did get these though.
